Exercise 5: Local Color overlay

Now is the time to layer over the grey scale tones with the local color. With this method, we first put down the light and shadow and then putting transparent color over the top to create the realistic look. When you put on the color, the grey tonal layer needs to be dry. It also works best when you don't work the color too much, just try to put the color down in one or two strokes. Otherwise the grey could smear and you will lose all your tonal work.
