Converting to Vector

Most image files will be "rastered" on the laser as a default. If you want to tell the laser to "vector" cut instead, you need to convert the image you are using into formulas- lines and equations using a program like CorelDraw or Illustrator. Of course, you can create shapes and drawings in these programs too that are already vectors, (or download them royalty free from the internet) but for the purposes of a basic introduction, we will show you step by step how to convert a jpeg into a vector and "print" on the laser.
